U.S. stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher while losses in the Telecoms, Utilities and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower. At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.18%, while the S&P500 index added 0.22%, and the NASDAQ Composite index gained 0.87%.
